Implementing Decision (EU) 2017/175 of the European Commission, published in December, 2023, describes how the Programme for the internal market, the competitiveness of businesses, especially small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), and the fields of plants, animals, feed, and European statistics will be financed. A multi-year work programme for the years 2024–2027 is established by this decision. Its significance is seen in boosting European statistics in these particular areas, encouraging competitiveness, and aiding SMEs.
