What is relevant? (Main content of relevance for the platform audience)
Ivan founded his business with a clear mission: to prove that short food supply chains can thrive without constant external funding. He aims to create a replicable system that empowers local producers to operate sustainably and profitably.
Why is it important? (Impact and significance)
Reducos Software is more than just a technology company; it is a partner to the local community. By consolidating multiple producers into a single web shop, Reducos simplifies the customer experience and boosts farmers' efficiency. “Producers spend more time in the fields than worrying about sales, marketing, or delivery,” Ivan says.
Their efforts also demonstrate the viability of short food supply chains on a larger scale. “We’re proving that sustainable, profitable short food supply chains are possible while creating a replicable model for others,” Ivan explains.
Ivan’s team stands out not only for its innovative work but also for its youth. He encourages young people to enter the sector, which he believes is ripe for innovation.
He points to the many funding opportunities within the CAP network but acknowledges a barrier: “Producers are often reluctant to utilise these opportunities because of high administrative responsibilities.”
Who is the target audience? (Who it is intended for)
Farmers and agri-food operators, and entrepreneurs.

Shortening the local supply chains empowers local producers to operate sustainably and profitably.
This can be further scaled up with concerted efforts.
Shortening the supply chain through digitization can be attractive for young farmers.
Short food supply chains are important to create self-sustaining food systems.
What’s next? (Expected outcomes and relevant next steps, if any)
Looking ahead, Ivan is focused on creating self-sustaining food systems. “I aim to prove that short food supply chains can thrive without constant external funding. We want to develop a system that others can adopt and replicate easily.”
For Ivan, the future of agriculture lies in localizing food systems and prioritizing sustainability.
He encourages young people to take the lead.
