Jevnaker Municipality has launched a NOK 300,000 grant scheme for 2025 to support holidays and trips for residents with disabilities. This initiative is designed to improve the quality of life and encourage social participation for people with disabilities by covering the cost of accompanying personnel. Residents with permanent disabilities who are over 16, live in their own adapted accommodation or at home, receive health and care services, require personal assistance for daily activities, and have lived in Jevnaker for the past two years can apply for up to NOK 10,000 in support. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with priority given to those who have not previously received funding.
