The Aequalis4TCLF project is working to close the skills gap in the textile, clothing, leather, and footwear (TCLF) sectors by strengthening education and training opportunities. At a recent partnership meeting, stakeholders from across Europe discussed strategies to align TCLF education with industry needs, ensuring a skilled and adaptable workforce.
The initiative focuses on developing innovative training methods, expanding access to lifelong learning, and fostering collaboration between industry and education providers. Key priorities include adapting curricula to technological advancements, integrating sustainability goals, and promoting fair working conditions.
As the project progresses, Aequalis4TCLF aims to equip workers with the skills needed to meet evolving industry demands, supporting both economic growth and social sustainability.
