Vienna set a new record in congress tourism in 2024 by hosting 6,619 congresses and corporate events, contributing EUR 1.32 billion to Austria’s economy and reaffirming its position as a leading global destination in the sector.

Compared to 2023, Vienna recorded a modest 2% increase in congresses (totalling 2,193) and a slightly larger 3% rise in corporate events (totalling 4,426), extending their impact beyond the city and contributing to nationwide growth.
