The MultiModX project, funded by Horizon Europe programme, aims to create a coordinated European transport system by integrating air and rail networks. Coordinated by Bauhaus Luftfahrt EV, it focuses on developing innovative multimodal solutions and decision support tools to enhance efficiency, predictability, environmental sustainability and resilience of passenger journeys. Running from July 2023 to December 2025, the project includes a multimodal modelling and evaluation framework to assess the impact of these transport systems and improve passenger-centric metrics.
