The organisers of the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) have launched the Startups Programme as part of the established Innovation Playground. This programme is designed to connect startups with investors, governments, corporations, universities, and research centres, promoting collaboration and accelerating the adoption of innovative solutions in the smart city industry. It is open to early-stage companies with technology-driven and innovative products or services in one of the focus sectors, with the potential for rapid scaling. Selected startups will have the opportunity to showcase their work to global professionals, investors, and media, while gaining access to various networking and promotional benefits. Applications are open until 5 October 2025, with a participation fee of EUR 1,995.
