The UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) will hold its Sustainability Conference 2026 on 23 September at Drapers’ Hall in London. Under the theme “Progress in Practice”, the event will explore how innovation is creating practical changes across the UK fashion and textile supply chain. 

The conference will focus on developments including bio-based materials, low-impact dyes and finishes, textile reuse and recycling, data-driven circularity, and new traceability technologies. Speakers from textile companies, fashion brands, research organisations, and technology providers will present solutions already being developed and applied across the industry. 

For the first time, the conference will also include a dedicated Textile Innovation Showcase. Participants will be able to discover emerging technologies and explore how they could be integrated into textile production and business operations. 

The event will bring together brands, retailers, manufacturers, researchers, innovators, policymakers, and funders. It will also provide opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and networking.
