TCLF SkillBridge Mobility Highlight: Learning from Borås, Sweden

The #TCLFSkillBridge project mobility programme is connecting stakeholders across Europe to exchange best practices and foster learning opportunities for the upskilling and reskilling of workers in the textile, clothing, footwear, and leather industries.

In October, Eleonora Foschi  from ENEA visited Borås Stad, Sweden, a partner of the T&C Borås Regional Skills Partnership being supported by #METASKILLS4TCLF. The visit focused on learning from a region recognised for its expertise in the circular economy and exploring ways to promote eco-design competencies and a circular mindset within the Emilia-Romagna textile sector, while also strengthening collaboration within funded research programmes.

The exchange combined site visits, workshops, and meetings with industry and research partners to explore circular textile practices, eco-design, and skills development. The lessons learned will be brought back to the Emilia-Romagna region, where a Regional Skills Partnership is being developed under the #TCLFSkillBridge project.
