BekaertDeslee commits to reducing its climate impact by aligning with the validated Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company will cut Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 65% and reduce Scope 3 emissions from purchased goods & services and end-of-life treatment of sold goods by 30% by 2030, using 2021 as its baseline. Progress will be measured through annual greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting following the GHG Protocol, including market-based and location-based reporting.
