By end of August 2025, the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles committed in its Partnership Initiative “Implementing Circularity in the Textile Industry” (ICTI) to facilitating steps towards a circular textile sector. The member brands engaged in this initiative created 25 circular designed styles from which 18 are verified and available on the market. Those styles are produced according to the circular-economy criteria developed under the ICTI project in support of circular.fashion. This includes use of recyclable materials, design for recycling, and a Digital Product Passport (DPP) enabling traceability, proper end-of-life return and recycling, making this collection a replicable model for future sustainable product lines. In addition to the supplier trainings and the development of those styles, several brands established either an in-store or online take-back-system to enable the use of this material in the future through recycling systems.
