The Institute of SETE-INSETE has launched the Airdata Tracker, a free tool designed to monitor air seat capacity and bookings for all inbound international flights to Greece. This platform collects, analyses, and presents data on airline seat planning and reservations, offering a centralised source for accurate insights into inbound travel trends.

The tracker provides detailed information on seat availability by month, week, airport, and country of origin, along with year-on-year comparisons.

As of 16 June 2025, the latest data reveals:

  • Approximately 28.5 million air seats are available for the summer season in Greece, marking a 5.2% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
  • Seasonality remains pronounced, with 53.2% of seats concentrated in the third quarter.
  • The largest increases in seat availability were recorded from the United States (+21.6%) and the Netherlands (+5.1%), while France experienced a decline of 2.9%.
  • As of the end of April, air seat reservations for Greece showed a slight decline of 0.1%, in contrast to competing destinations such as Spain (+3.5%), Italy (+1.3%), and Portugal (+0.5%).

All data featured in the tracker is sourced from OAG, a UK-based global travel data provider. For more detailed insights, please refer to the link provided on the left-hand side of the platform.
