This webinar explored the future of seamless cross-border travel in Europe — from digitalisation of Schengen visa procedures to smart travel documents and faster border processes. 

Experts from IRU, CER aisbl and Airlines for Europe (A4E) shared practical insights from the road, rail and aviation sectors. Representatives from DG HOME and DG SANTE provided updates on the Entry/Exit System (EES) and the (ETIAS), and digital health developments respectively. UNTourism representative highlighted travel facilitation as both a major challenge and a key opportunity for seamless travel.
