The 5th Zero Waste Railways workshop, hosted by the International Union of Railways (UIC), will take place on 20 November 2024 in Paris, France. This event will focus on how circular economy practices can help the railway sector achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. Experts will discuss strategies for reducing emissions, improving material traceability, and the role of procurement in sustainability efforts. Participants will also have opportunities to network and share success stories about innovative circular materials in rail infrastructure.
