Many SMEs feel lost at sea when it comes to EU funding. Knowing the ropes is essential for choosing the right call, the best partners, not to mention, avoiding common application mistakes.

The EU Pilot Project ‘Building Capacity for Tourism’, funded by the European Parliament, is launching a free training programme to help tourism SMEs make the most of funding opportunities under the 2021–2027 EU budget.

The training session on ‘Navigating EU funding & partnership opportunities’ will take place in Rome, Italy, on 10 March 2026 (9.30-15.30 CET)Participants will gain an overview of upcoming EU funding opportunities in the tourism sector, in addition to improving application skills and networking with peers and EU funding experts. The in-person session will be followed by 3 online sessions.

Online attendance [AS1] will be available via the registration form. Note: In-person participants will be able to participate in a networking lunch and hear live testimonials from representatives of the European Enterprise Network and EU projects.
