In May 2025, the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) published a booklet showcasing the winning initiatives of the EASPD Innovation Awards. These initiatives highlight inclusive practices in the fields of arts, sport, and leisure, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for persons with disabilities. The publication features examples from across Europe that demonstrate how participation in cultural and recreational activities can foster social inclusion, personal development, and community engagement.
Among the 2025 award recipients was a joint initiative by the European Federation of Tourist Guide Associations (FEG) and the European Network for Accessible Tourism asbl. (ENAT), titled T-GUIDE – Guiding People with Learning Difficulties. This lifelong learning programme is designed for certified tourist guides in Europe. Other recognised practices include the ALL INCLUSIVE project, the International Coaching Course (ITK), Nevronas FESTival, SavasRock festival, and events organised by Among Supereroi Printre Noi.
For detailed information on each awarded practice—including descriptions, funding requirements, impact, sustainability, key success factors, and potential for replication—please refer to the link provided on the left-hand side of the platform.
