Who we are
Join the Med is created under the Sustainable Tourism Mission of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme 2021-2027. The Interreg Euro-MED Programme aims to support cooperation across Mediterranean borders by bringing together partners from 69 regions of 14 countries on the Northern shore of the Mediterranean. The partners share the common objective to achieve a climate neutral and resilient society for the benefit of its citizens. The Sustainable Tourism Mission focuses on fostering circular tourism considering the sustainability of ecosystem services using innovation technologies, and promoting the preservation of natural resources and cultural heritage. Community4Tourism is the Mission’s thematic community project, which aims at consolidating a competitive innovation ecosystem, to support a circular economy, to promote climate change adaptation, to safeguard nature and biodiversity and collaborate to the transition towards a climate-neutral and resilient society.
