The QueerVadis certification, published and validated by RINA, is an international protocol aimed at promoting LGBTQ+ diversity, equity, and inclusion within the tourism and hospitality sectors. Developed by Sonders and Beach in collaboration with AITGL and ELTA, its goal is to ensure inclusive and respectful experiences for LGBTQ+ travellers while helping organisations implement and demonstrate DE&I policies.

Eligible entities include accommodation providers, travel agencies, event organisers, commercial activities, MICE sector companies, airlines, cruise companies, and tourist destinations. The certification process involves an initial assessment, training, audits, and review by an independent technical committee, with the certificate valid for three years. Certified organisations benefit from enhanced branding, visibility, mentoring, and improved ESG ratings.
