The Academia Digital, developed by Turismo de Portugal, offers a free training opportunity on the Blue Tourism Economy from 12 December to 13 December 2024. This 8-hour online course, led by the School of Hospitality and Tourism Setúbal, is designed for industry professionals interested in understanding the value of the oceans, sustainability, and the economic opportunities within the blue economy.

The goals are to empower sustainable economic use of blue economy activities, recognise tourism's impacts and opportunities, reinforce networking, and implement a practical blue operating system for confident decision-making based on ESG principles and the 2030 Agenda.

Registration is required to participate, but there is no fee. Participants who attend at least 90% of the course, actively engage, and complete the proposed activities will have the opportunity to receive a certificate (The original piece available only in Portuguese).
