The ISEKI-Food Association (IFA) was founded in 2005 as an independent European non-profit organization by representatives from universities, research institutes, companies, and associations worldwide. Its mission is to enhance the quality and effectiveness of education and training in the food sector by fostering collaboration between academia and industry. IFA aims to ensure that professionals across the food value chain are equipped with the best possible competencies to serve consumers with safe and high-quality food.

ISEKI-Food is dedicated to supporting lifelong learning by developing educational resources, promoting research uptake, and facilitating international cooperation. It provides platforms for teachers, students, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange knowledge and improve teaching and training practices.
