The first edition of an awards scheme to recognise small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that sign up to the EU Code of Conduct for Responsible Food Business and Marketing Practices, is set to be announced in October-November 2025.
Purpose and vision
The awards aim to recognise and showcase impactful initiatives from SMEs in the agri-food sector that support the green and digital transition while contributing to a more sustainable, resilient, and fair food system. This competition seeks to highlight practical actions that align with the goals of the agri-food Transition Pathway and promote leadership, innovation, and sustainability across the value chain.
Why participate?
By participating in the awards, stakeholders will:
- gain European-level recognition and visibility for their efforts and contributions;
- inspire peers and partners by sharing best practices and real success stories;
- become part of a growing community of innovators and changemakers committed to sustainable transformation in the agrifood sector;
- contribute to the collective advancement of the EU’s sustainability and transition objectives.
