The PANTOUR project has recognised the career development programme of the Spanish HOSBEC (Hotel and Tourism Business Association of the Valencian Community) as a best practice. This programme focuses on continuous training to enhance various skill sets, with a strong emphasis on digitalisation and environmental sustainability. The primary objective is to create multidisciplinary job profiles, ensuring that current employees are well-prepared to apply for new positions within the organisation. The success of this initiative is measured by the reduction in adaptation costs to new roles and the enhancement of employee self-confidence.
For a detailed overview of best practices, including key principles, examples, case studies, potential pitfalls, challenges, benefits, outcomes, and methods for measuring success, please refer to the attached link to the PANTOUR project analysis published on 4 December 2024.
