The Central Statistics Office of Ireland published the Household Travel Survey for Q3 2024 in January, 2025. The report highlights a 15% increase in domestic trips compared to the same period in 2023, with 2.5 million trips taken. International travel also saw a significant rise, with 1.8 million trips, marking a 20% increase. The survey underscores the strong recovery and growth in both domestic and international travel for Irish households.
