The EU Urban Mobility Observatory has launched an interactive city database designed to provide comprehensive information on Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) and transport strategies across Europe. Introduced in December 2024, the tool offers insights into the 431 urban nodes of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), as well as other EU cities with populations over 50,000 that are at various stages of SUMP development.

Designed as a valuable resource for urban planners, policymakers, researchers, and mobility enthusiasts, the database provides access to published plans and official city websites, enabling users to explore the strategies and solutions adopted. Its aim is to compile detailed SUMP data for all European cities, promoting transparency and the sharing of best practices in urban mobility.

You can explore the EU city database on SUMPs here.
