Outpayce, a travel payments specialist from Amadeus, released a survey in March 2025, gathering insights from 4,500 travellers across France, Brazil, the UK, the US, and Singapore on travel payment security. The results emphasise the growing importance of payment security in travel purchase decisions. Over 70% of travellers prefer booking with companies known for strong payment security, and many would avoid providers with poor cybersecurity, even if offered discounts. The report covers topics such as the significance of payment security, the impact of fraud, balancing security with customer experience, and alternative payment methods. It highlights the need for travel companies to balance fraud prevention with a seamless customer experience.
