The Brandenburg Tourism Strategy, published by the Brandenburg Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor, and Energy in June, 2023, outlines a comprehensive plan to enhance the region's tourism sector. This strategy builds on the 2016 Landestourismuskonzeption, addressing new challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic, climate crisis, and evolving mobility and leisure behaviors. Developed through extensive stakeholder consultations, including future dialogues, regional conferences, and focus group workshops, the strategy emphasizes sustainability, digital transformation, and regional cooperation.

It identifies five key future fields and integrates the tourism brand Brandenburg with the strategic framework, aiming to boost visitor experiences, promote regional attractions, and ensure long-term economic growth and environmental sustainability.
