The MOMAr project, funded by the Interreg Europe programme from August 1, 2019, to July 31, 2023, offered strategic advice for managing cultural and natural resources in rural areas. By involving all stakeholders, it promoted social and economic development that reflected local identities. The project addressed challenges in depopulated and aging regions rich in heritage but lacking effective resource management models. MOMAr aimed to preserve cultural identities and engage local residents in strategy development by improving policies and programs.
