The Agri-Food Code: now available in 21 EU languages
The EU Code of Conduct on Responsible Food Business and Marketing Practices, known as the Agri-Food Code, was established in 2021 as one of the first deliverables of the EU Farm to Fork Strategy. It sets out shared aspirations and indicative actions that food chain operators, such as food manufacturers, food service operators and retailers, can voluntarily align with to support the transition towards sustainable food systems.
The Agri-Food Code has been translated into 21 EU languages, thanks to contributions from stakeholders. COPA-COGECA provided translations into German, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish and Romanian, while FoodDrinkEurope provided translations into Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Portuguese, Slovak, Slovenian and Swedish. All translations are available for download below.
