Commitments by aspirational objectives

Aspirational Objective 1: Healthy, balanced and sustainable diets for all European consumers

1.1 Improved food consumption patterns in the EU
Edenred aims to encourage increased consumption of fruits and vegetables, wholegrain cereals, fiber, nuts and pulses, including locally-produced varieties. We also seek to promote consumer awareness of healthy, balanced and sustainable diets, including sustainable food consumption, as part of healthy and sustainable lifestyles.
1.2 A food environment that makes it easier to choose healthy and sustainable diets
Edenred promotes healthy and sustainable food service practices. Integrating sustainable practices and health in the workplace is one of our core activity, as well as supporting local actions to enhance the availability of/access to healthy and sustainable diets for all.

Aspirational Objective 5: Sustained, inclusive economic growth, employment and decent work for all

5.2 Supporting a skilled workforce and providing safe and inclusive workplaces for all
Edenred's core activity is focused on continuously improving working conditions by offering various tools to incentivize and reward employees (vouchers, cards, platforms).
Meal vouchers ensure equitable access to nutritious meals during the working day. This social benefit system offers more choices for lunch and an opportunity to disconnect and escape the work environment and bound with co-workers or friends in a relaxing setting.
Similarly, decent working conditions and formal employment for all is a top priority. Social vouchers, thanks to their nature and characteristics, constitute modern and efficient tools at the service of governments to directly stimulate local economies while enhancing macro-economic impacts such as job creation and the fight against undeclared work.
Edenred is actively engaged in a dynamic process to encourage employers to commit to their employees’ well-being and is an official partner of the European Occupational Safety and Health Agency (EU-OSHA) for the Healthy workplaces campaign 2023-2025 “Safe and healthy work in the digital age”. Partnering with EU-OSHA enhances Edenred’s commitment to nurturing a workplace environment conducive to employees’ wellbeing and productivity.
